Journal entry by Wendy Parker

I had appointments at Mayo yesterday as it has been three months since I came home. My bloodwork was good but my ultrasound showed some inflammation/hardness in the right lobe so they need to do an MRI (MRE actually) and a few other tests the second week of April. They don’t seem very worried at all, just need to see what is really happening so they know how to adjust things. And they found a .9 centimeter lesion on my kidney so have to check that with the MRI as well, but again, no one seems to think it is anything to worry about. And, weekly blood tests continue. Adjusted some meds and almost down to no prednisone so that’s good! Always comforted by the care and knowledge of the team at Mayo. And they laugh at Larry Daniels’ jokes so he really loves them😂
