Hello all! It has been quite some time since my last update which is good 😊 I just got back from my 1yr post transplant check in at Mayo, and it was all good news so far! We are still waiting on a few things to result from my BMB, but based on all other lab work it should be negative for cancer cells 🙏🏻 I was very fortunate to have my sister Tiegan and Connor come with me for this trip 😊 And we got some family time staying with Heather and Corey, always nice to see them ❤️ Maybe next time can be just for a visit and not appointments lol.
The last few months have proved to be challenging with me having 2 small children and no immune system 😬 I’ve been sick far more than well since October. And I had the good fortune of breaking my leg at the beginning of October, but the upside of this was it helped me slow down a bit. I was jumping back in to life full steam ahead and may have been wearing myself out a bit in doing so. Since I got my boot off, I have been gradually getting back into work, but still enjoying plenty of family time. And now that my leg is better I have found my next hurdle of ruptured ear drums after a sinus infection that resulted in a severe ear infection. We are praying for quick healing as this makes me unable to actually take patients at my job.
I am finding myself more appreciative of each day and what it brings. I’m not going to say life is easy, but I can always find something good in every day. I’m so grateful for the people in my life, a job that I love……a life worth living ❤️🧡🥰 I continue to be thankful for the support I know we still receive from all of you in whatever form it comes! We are truly blessed! Hoping and praying for a great rest of 2024 for us all 🙏🏻
Thank you 💕
