Wow! It's been a while since last posting! Thought I'd give an update and request prayer today. My past two scans have showed no cancer. Next one will be in November. What awesome news, eh?
On the flip side, my heart is still quite damaged from the chemo. On Monday--this coming Monday--the 14th, I will have a one-day surgery to implant a defibrillator. It is a non-traditional one that does not invade the heart. Recovery will be a few weeks, and I've been assured it will hurt for a while. I ask for your prayers: that the procedure will go well, that pain will be manageable, that the device will not shock me unnecessarily (sometimes they do:-), and that God's peace and healing will continue.
So far I have peace and plan to continue exciting things in life!
