Two AMAZING pieces of news! First, Mom was discharged from the hospital over the weekend after completing her final round of Paxlovid. COVID had nothing on her! She was feeling great and even enjoyed quite a bit of time outside over the weekend. Her cough is getting better and she is able to talk so much more during our daily FaceTimes.

Today she went to Kearney to complete another round of chemo. They ran their weekly blood labs and met with Dr. Lewis before treatment. Mom’s labs came back better than they have been since starting chemo, Dr. Lewis was quite impressed. While Mom was getting her infusion, Dr, Lewis’ PA came and told Mom that her cancer markers were coming down which means her cancer is RESPONDING to the chemo. This just proves God is always listening to you and that my Mom is the strongest person I know!

Thank you, thank you everyone for the prayers. Don’t stop now as Mom will continue to complete her infusions 3 weeks on, 1 week off. We pray for no more complications Lord! Thank YOU for Your mercy!
