Well son we have passed a year since your accident on Feb. 9th.  Today is your birthday.  Hard to say Happy Birthday since it really isn't.  Short team memory is still very short.  He didnt or cant recall Christmas.  April and Wes have seen John several times.  We have been able to face time.  He has improved in some areas some have shown little to no improvement.  He is able to use his right hand better, he talks better, and at times seems more coherent.   Other times he seems to look right through you.  Seems like no one is at home other times.  The heart break of all this is, we would be discussing the recruiting year Notre Dame has had, the changes made in the coaching staff.  The Buffalo Bills run and discouraging , excruciating loss in the playoffs.  The Olympics,  just horrible what this accident has done.  I miss my son!!!

I am sorry this is not about me.  Keep trying John, put in the work!!

I still firmly believe GOD has a plan.  Sorry I haven't updated earlier not a lot to report.  Seems like just yesterday this happened and at the same time feels like 3 years.
