It has been almost 7 mos since dads passing. I was looking @ memories that popped up on my phone yesterday of dad & I @ the Spicer Legion having drinks & playing tabs. He & mom had a tradition of being at the lake all summer @ watching fireworks on the 4th from the deck @ the Legion while having a few drinks & playing tabs. Last couple yrs he has not been able to make it to the lake due to hospitalizations. Although we had hoped we could’ve got him there this yr for one last hurrah he didn’t make it. Still hard to believe your both gone. He fought with all his being & was so stubborn in the end to not say he didn’t feel well & was in so much pain but wouldn’t complain.  I know in my heart your in a better place. Miss you both. 💕
