Thank you to all of the friends and family who attended Vonnie's memorial service on October 22. It was probably the hardest day of my life but it was also so rewarding to hear everyone talk about their great memories of Vonnie and how she added to their lives. 

Had that service been for someone else, Vonnie would have commented "I hope mine is just like that one". Thank you to everyone who helped plan or who took a part in the day.

We will be celebrating her life at an open house in the Chicago area on November 20. The celebration will be from 12 noon till 3 PM at Cooper's Hawk Restaurant, 583 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Wheeling IL.  We hope to see our Illinois friends and family there and continue to recognize and honor the impact that our wonderful Vonnie had on all of us.
