Journal entry by Brittany Shearin

Thank God for nurses! How sweet is this?!

Praise! We are down to 9% blasts! Single digits! Doc thought it may be even lower bc that was only out of 47 cells, not a full sample.
Sugar is great today! Prayers answered!
Thank you so much everyone who shopped our Amazon list! I’ve been adding hospital gowns, chemo and hospital items to make it more comfy, things for emergency “go bag”, adaptive port access clothing some of you have suggested, as well as tons of cleaning supplies to keep her safe.
I have the most insanely generous community of friends. It’s awe inspiring.
My precious friend Darby shared with me that a contact of hers is a missionary and received word that there are 70 families from around the world praying for Vivi and are spreading the word. Awesome God you will be glorified in this story!

Prayer Requests to focus on!
We are still waiting to hear if Friday’s tap had any leuk cells. In the name of Jesus,  Lord clean that sample!
Tomorrow is another tap and chemo treatment! I find myself looking forward to chemo day bc I know she is responding! Another beautiful friend Brittany shared some verses for chemo day with me that I’d love us all to pray over Vivi!

“when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all”  Mark 16:18
I will put this on her pump when she gets her chemo.

And Nahum 1:9 “this affliction will not come upon you a second time”

And this one from Kristin “He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” Mark 5:34

Prayer Requests!
1. Day 29 is a ways away but I want to cover that day and those tests starting now! She will have a very specific MRD test. We want the results to be 0.1
2. We are likely to be discharged tomorrow! Pray we can keep her safe and healthy while at home and that we get no bugs and no fevers!
3. The good stuff in her blood is low, they’re not surprised, that’s the nature of chemo, but please pray for miraculous recovery of her platelets! I pray a miracle over her platelets that they would increase. Energy would be restored and bruising would fade. Lord be her healer and sustainer.
