Hi this is Jamie-- 

Saw dad this morning.  He looked good.  I met with his doctor and his social worker to discuss his care plan.  His doctor wants to continue with his dialysis on Tuesday and then take an aggressive approach to wean him off the ventilator. He will then be discharged back to Garden Park.  He's coherent, but very sleepy...and trust me, he needs his rest.  At this time, we still ask for no visitors as they may agitate him.  So far, we are content with his care at Garden Grove Hospital.  His doctor seems more than qualified, and has been in communication with his doctors whose care he has prior been under.  The nursing staff is taking great care of him when we cannot be there.  Hoping that they can get him better quickly so he can get back to rehab at Garden Park, and then home! 

A quick note on Garden Park -- it will be temporary until we can get him home and ultimately back to his normal life.  He loves this facility, as do Jena and I.  The staff is great -- very professional and personable.  He likes it there and trusts that they will get him back on his feet!
