Dear Friends, this is Pat writing. We have been reading your many messages for Victor and they have brought us great comfort.  Our last hours with Vic at the U of M medical center were very peaceful.  Many members of the family were gathered around the bed and we reminisced and shared many stories.  Vic was participating and adding comments, mainly one or two words to each story, or even making corrections!   At the moment he left us there was a feeling of peace that all of us in the room could feel.  It was truly wonderful.
I know you are wondering if we will have a ceremony to honor Vic's life.  We have decided to wait for the Spring or Summer before we do arrange something.  We will be in touch with you.  Thank you again for your messages.  With much love, from us all; Solange, Nina, Natalia and Pat.
