Val’s Story

Val has been diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time. She is scheduled for a double mastectomy on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Jack will have to be the soul caregiver, provider, work from homer, housecleaner, bill payer, cook, meal prepper, etc.  To help with some of this burden, so that he can focus on helping Val recover, we have created this page. We will update the page anytime we are made aware of a new way you can help. At this time, they have asked for help with meals and groceries after her surgery. Please visit the meal train page to find a good time for you to make a delicious vegan meal for Jack and Val. Also, if you have any suggestions for things they might need, please let us know at alsbww@yahoo.com. Let's be warriors for Val in helping her defeat "Doug" (her name for the cancer in her body)!
