It is with great difficulty I write this last post. My sweet wife Vickie lost the battle against cancer this morning, yet she won the victory by entering into the arms of Jesus her Savior for all eternity. I am saddened beyond words, but I am also encouraged knowing that someday soon I will join her in heaven to rejoice with her that she's free from pain and suffering. We shared some wonderful times in our 31 years together and although we didn't get to complete our retirement dreams, we trust that the rewards in eternity will more than make up for what we had planned. We knew that this day was a real possibility from the moment she was diagnosed, but it doesn't make it any easier or lessen the overwhelming grief I'm experiencing. God is good and will somehow get me through this. Please keep me in your prayers as I deal with losing my precious soulmate.
