Vesta’s Story

Site created on October 11, 2023

Sunday, October 8th, Vesta was taken into the hospital for an intense headache and cognitive impairment. After a CT scan the doctors performed a craniotomy. During the craniotomy the surgeons removed a blood clot and repaired bleeding in Vesta’s brain. The surgery was considered a success and at this point we anticipate that Vesta will make a full recovery. There are still many hurdles that Vesta will face in the coming days and weeks. We ask that you stand with us in prayer for a full recovery. We serve a mighty God that is absolutely able to heal! We are trusting in him and believing that Vesta will be fully healed in Jesus’ name!

Newest Update

Journal entry by Jarrod Watkins

Big News! Some of you must have a gifting in prayer.  I put out the earlier update, because it had been awhile and people were asking.  Vesta just got off the phone with her doctor and they are going to stop dialysis treatment, because she has improved enough!  Vesta still has borderline function, so continue to pray for healing, but this is really big for her overall comfort and mental health.
