Journal entry by Jamie Kelly

Valerie is improving every day. She is home and continuing the therapy at home she learned while at a Charlotte in-patient rehab. In addition, she will soon begin outpatient rehab in our local area. She is walking several hundred feet every day. It appears, she is eating well and feeling well. She remembers most everything before the accident but doesn’t remember the several weeks following. Doctors are amazed at her progress. At the present, we are avoiding crowds, loud noises, multiple voices, long conversations and fast movements. They are not friendly to her. Her vision and hearing are improving each day. By the grace of God, she has miraculously come a long way in a short amount of time, and it is responsible for me to say, she still has a way to go for complete healing. We believe she will have a full recovery. Thank you for all your prayers and support!

Specific Prayer Request for Today:
She has headaches that typically come twice a day and last for about an hour— morning and afternoon. Her doctors say this is to be expected with her type of injury. Please join us in praying they will subside.
