Newest Update

Journal entry by Grace Dennis

Hey All,
It's been a minute. Graham's radiation is going well. Due to his age, he is sedated for the radiation sessions. When he first started going through this process of receiving the sedation, he was all smiles and giggly after the medication took effect. Now, he gets the giggles before they even give him any sedation! His radiation mask got an upgrade this week! Check out his mask in the picture below. Mickey Mouse is his favorite!  He is on steroids to help with symptoms of the tumor. He is slowly being weaned off of them. But they make him very very hungry! He continues to get feeds through his feeding tube but can eat soft/mashed foods. He is even eating foods he previously never liked!
Another side effect of steroids is irritability, to which Graham's parents affectionately call his "Roid Rage".
Graham has had some time to explore Iowa City while he's not at the hospital. Yesterday he visited the Children's Museum with his cousins!

Mark and Abby continue to receive an outpouring of love and support from all over. They thank everyone for their continued support and love!
