Journal

234 days ago, we got to Stanford with no idea how drastically our life was about to change. Over the last 8 months, Tu'i has had 8 rounds of chemotherapy, blood transfusions, many many labs, lost his hair-more than once, way too much anesthesia, lost a lot of weight, and endured countless pokes.....but also in those 8 months, he gained his ability to walk back, we were able to see our sweet boy come back to us, he got his appetite back, he gained his weight back, we've witnessed so many blessings/miracles and have felt the arms of our Father in Heaven wrap us in everyone's love and prayers. Our faith was strong, but it was built even stronger. We have a deeper knowledge than we have ever known, we know without a doubt, this life isn't it, there is more. 234 days ago, we walked blindly into battle with nothing but our faith to see us through, today, we learned that Tu'i's scans that he just had on Wednesday showed zero up-take, which means that he doesn't have any active cancer cells in his body, he still has a tumor in his body, but it is sterile and much smaller than it was. He is done with treatment for now, and will only have scans every couple of months. His journey is long from over, but to reach this point is a true miracle and we are humble, we are grateful, and are still trying to believe it ourselves. We just want to end with how much we appreciate all of you, we love you, and all your prayers, thoughts, love, support, messages, and service to our family--has never gone unnoticed, and will never be forgotten.--- Thank you! ~Our Faith is Stronger than Our Fear!
