Troy’s Story

Site created on September 16, 2019

On Saturday September 14 Troy was in a motorcycle accident west of Salem. He had put a new carburetor on his bike and took it out for a test drive. With the sun in his eyes he did not see the SUV in front of him and he rear ended it. The back window shattered and Troy flew over the SUV landing in the ditch a ways ahead. Troy was life flighted to Sanford hospital in Sioux Falls with extensive injuries. These injuries include a broken pelvis, shattered wrist, all the ribs on the right side broken, laceration to the back of his head, along with many other scrapes and bruises. The doctors put a chest tube in, and filters in his leg as they found blood clots.

Troy has a very long road to recovery ahead of him and is in need of everyones thoughts and prayers. There is a GoFundMe page set up to help with the medical bills, as they will add up quite quickly. The link may be found below.
