Oncologist:

"Trista, I have good no great news. You are of the 20%, your PET Scan shows that the nodules no longer ha e active cancer in them." 

WHAT?!?!?!?! 

We sat there in absolute shock and disbelief. I asked him and Kurt multiple times what that meant. Simply put it means the treatments are working and my cancer is under control right now. I will continue treatments for the next 3 months and then will have another scan and will go from there.

The only other news we found out is that my right vocal cord is paralyzed. Which is due to cancer being on there. This may or may not resolve itself. 

We are overjoyed! He actually said the word REMISSION! 

I can't help but think that my angels in heaven are working hard! I know that I have a ways to go before a new normal will happen. The nurse reminded me that cancer takes a toll on the body and not to push it. But also said that with HOPE it will make it so much easier. 

I am pretty sure that Zackie had a chat with God, and let him know that even though he loves and misses me a ton he surely isn't ready to spend eternity with me yet! 😉
