Trinette’s Story

Trinette here...

20(ish) years ago, for no memorable reason I told my husband Karl that I knew I was going to have breast cancer someday. Well, now is that time. Yesterday we received the news that I in fact do have breast cancer. We don't yet know the details (type, stage, grade, etc.) I don't have a strong family history, certainly none this early, I'm not yet 40. So ladies!!! Get those mammograms and don't put off asking your Dr. About any changes! Here is where we'll update as best we can as we know things... but for now... this is what I know to be true.

When it rains....... He REIGNS! And while I don't know for sure if God is allowing this, or intending this... I do know for sure that whether He is allowing it, or intending it, that it is for my good and for His glory.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Trinette Ward

Quick update,
1) I'm a grandma! "Nanette"
We love our new family member, Bellamy Rose.
2) Friday, Sept 24, 2021, I'm having my chemo port and internal heart monitor removed! Wahoo! They've been part of me for 3.5 and nearing 2 years, respectively.

Please pray for an uneventful procedure and easy, nearly 2 hrs drive home.

Also, ladies, next month is Breast Cancer Awareness month... if you are behind on your screening mammograms, get them scheduled! It's not fun, but it could save your life!
