Welcome to Trevor’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportIt’s been a really fast 4 months on this chemo routine. Trevor is doing well with keeping on schedule with taking it and following all the rules for when he can and can’t eat. He experiences fatigue off and on but nothing as bad as the beginning. The acne is still pretty prominent but he now has some medication to help with that and it does seem to curb it some. Last week he dealt with some hives and severe itching but that seems to have calmed down also. Dr said it is his body trying to get rid of the chemo.
He had his first MRI since beginning treatment and we got the results on Friday. The doctor was very happy with the results. Everything looked stable. Nothing was smaller but nothing was bigger. She thought the “electrical” activity (from stimulation of nervous system) seemed to be a little calmer which was a positive. We had a really good conversation and left feeling pretty good. We are awaiting some additional tests from his GI doctor and the oncologist tied a lot of things together for us. They will be working closely on some issues and hopefully we will get some good outcomes.
It seems like we are on a good track and will stay the course right now.
Thank you for your continued prayers.
Hugs
