Today is the day Deb, Autumn and I have been waiting for since this whole thing started. Trevor was released today from Children's Mercy. It was a long hard road we had lots of sad tears and lots of happy tears. There were moments we were not sure if he was going to make it. If it wasn’t for the wonderful ECMO team, all the doctors and nurses at Children’s Mercy PICU I’m not sure we would be here to celebrate his return home. We had so much wonderful support from all our family and friends, giving us so many prayers and thoughts that we cannot say thank you enough. But tonight we are finally a whole family at home once again. We still have a tough road ahead but we will make it. Here is the total time we spent from day one.
