Tresa’s Story

Site created on December 1, 2020

Hi Family and Friends,
Knowing how energetic she usually is, it's hard to believe, but Mom spends 20-22 or more hours a day sleeping. That means that while visiting with those she loved used to be something she looked forward to a great deal, it now demands more energy than she has.
We are receiving limited visits from Hospice professionals, which means we are up with Mom each time she needs to do something as simple as turn over in bed. As you can imagine, this requires almost all the energy we have to keep up with all her needs, so it would help us to streamline our communication with you through this website. The nice thing is that once you’ve registered, you can “Follow” Mom’s page and choose whether you want to receive email or text alerts when we post an update.
We know you all want to do something to help Mom right now, so how about posting a Well Wish? Click the link below to upload a message containing a story from your history with Mom as well as a selfie to go with it. We never can predict when she’ll feel up to listening to us read them to her, but we think it will bring a smile to her face. https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/tresapalmer/guestbook  (https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/tresapalmer/guestbook Some) Some of you have been sending cards by mail and we've been reading those to her. She enjoys hearing from you!

Dear Family and Friends -

We are looking forward to celebrating Tresa’s life later this morning during her memorial service that begins at 11am CST.

Below is a link for watching that service, and it will be live-streamed if you wish to watch in real time, or you can click on the link later and watch on-demand.
