It has been a few days, but some solid answers we have been waiting for. The rehab tream met with Dad and Cyndie on Tuesday and was very pleased with his progress. Dad's discharge date from rehab has been set for next Thursday the 18th at 10am. I feel he should be more than ready by then.

Later on the 18th, in the afternoon, he will see his orthopedic surgeon for a post op visit and should have his staples removed over his incisions which are healing very well. He will be fitted for a more comfortable and fitted brace that will allow some knee bending while not in therapy. His current knee bending excursion is right on target!

Our target date to leave NC for a car trip to Nashville will be Sunday May 21st. We will need a few days at home for him to enjoy just being home and rest a little. We also need to pack some items he will need for his time in Tennessee. My sister, Laura, will be traveling with us to give some extra assistance. and then will fly home to NC.

Once again, thank you all so much for praying for us through this journey. It has greatly sustained my family.
