Tracy’s Story

Site created on March 27, 2019

For those of you that don’t know, Tracy came in to Sky Ridge Hospital on Wednesday,  March 13th for a hysterectomy. She had complications and went in for a second surgery to address a crohns related issue.  She is now in ICU, in kidney failure, and on dialysis.

Tracy needs all the prayers she can get.. she is a very very strong person and I know this will not get her down but it is going to be a huge fight for her.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Julie Veto

I have not posted an update here for quite some time, so thought I should do that for anyone that isn’t connected on Facebook. Tracy has been through two additional surgeries, and had to have an ostomy placed high in her small bowel, which means everything that she eats or drinks, will come out through a stoma and into a bag. She will continue to require IV nutrition and fluids for 9-12 months. She still has a massive wound in her abdomen that will heal over the course of several months. She will need another surgery down the road to reverse the ostomy and reconnect her intestines. Thanks for all of the continued support through this looooooong ordeal.
