Tracy is home! Tracy was released from the hospital on Sunday, October 22nd (Day +24) and has since been readjusting to life at home.
After having a bone marrow biopsy done on Tuesday, we are now waiting for the results to come back which will be roughly 2 weeks. In the mean time, Tracy will continue to have two appointments a week for the remainder of the year and her blood counts are rising at the predicted rate the doctors have been looking for.
She has been feeling very fatigued the last few days and eating has been a challenge for her. Walt finds ways to get calories in her, despite her aversion to food. Part of the challenge is getting her GI tract to behave. All in all Tracy is happy to be out of that hospital room… and we are happy to entertain her and help her feel all of the comforts of home!
