Greetings from Casa Stricklin,

 

Travelling to my father-in-law's birthday party was a success!   David managed to stay for about an hour and a half before he was hurting bad enough that he had to leave.  I call it a success even though he was in a great deal of pain by the end of it because he was able to be there and see family that he hasn't seen in over a year.  He got to hold our newest great-nephew, Mikey and pose for a picture with his daddy and sisters.  He's still asleep as of right now, not sure what kind of shape he'll be in when he wakes up, but he did call yesterday a good day.  His family is amazing, and they have always been so good to me.
