Journal entry by Hollie Harvey

Good Afternoon! I wanted to give everyone a quick update! Today Traci was able to get the trach removed today!!  I just talked with her (well she can't talk for the next 2 hours so don't call or facetime right now...). Hopefully next week she will be moved to another rehabilitation hospital that specializes in Physical Therapy so she can focus on getting her legs working and fully independent! The hospital is in the process of taking notes to make sure she is ready for their intensive physical therapy which will be 2-3 hours a day. She needs to be able to not only walk by herself but climb a few flights of stairs since she lives in a second floor apartment. She is still considered too medically fragile to travel with out medical transport. We are hopeful that once she is transferred to the this rehabilitation hospital she will only need 2-3 weeks of therapy. One thing we could use prayers for is, she is missing some of her personal items that are quite expensive to replace. I will be heading out for just a day visit but I am hoping to locate these items while I am there (and before she heads to a different location). If you could pray that I can find them while I am there that would be amazing! Thank you for your continued positive thoughts and prayers!

We appreciate you.  ~Hollie ❤️
