I’ve been negligent in posting!  Surgery went well.  I still have my drain in but it comes out tomorrow thank goodness.  Unfortunately the pathology report showed that I have a combination of new breast cancer and a recurrence of my cancer from 2007.  One lymph node is involved.  I have a medical oncology appointment on Thursday so I will find out what will come next.  The next steps could be radiation although because I had radiation before I may not be able to do that again, chemotherapy, plus hormone therapy.  Because of my MS chemotherapy could be very rough on me.  Whatever decision I make will have to be well thought through.
