I've been searching for the right words, any words really, for this update but it has proven to be difficult. The only words we need right now, though, are those from the Lord and those that are sent up to our Lord. Because even in the midst of pain and suffering, God is there to hear our cries and bring comfort to those who are hurting. And there are many whose hearts are hurting right now.

 

"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:17-18

To say we are brokenhearted is an understatement. On Sunday, September 3, 2023, Tori joined our Lord in heaven. And though her absence is overwhelming, our sweet warrior princess no longer has to fight; she no longer has to endure any pain. Tori is free. 

Tori valiantly battled cancer for 20 months, inspiring all who knew her courageous journey. Despite the immense challenges, she was a beacon of resilience, teaching us the true meaning of strength and love. And while she has left this earth, her story is not over. In fact, it never ends. 

Tori will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends, and she now has eternal life in Heaven. So let us come together to remember the joy and light that she brought into our lives, cherishing the precious moments we shared. And while we hold on to the memories, may we find some solace knowing she will forever be held by the Lord. 

Children have a special place in God’s heart. And He undoubtedly welcomed Tori into His kingdom by graciously wrapping His ever-loving arms around her. 

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"

So let these words offer a sense of peace and reassurance – our precious Tor Tor, a truly brave and beautiful soul, is now in a place of eternal love and grace.

Rest in peace, sweet Tori. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
