Journal entry by Matt Merchlewicz —
Tony came home this afternoon! The transition in and out of the car, the sidewalk and ramp into the house were very easy. He was very excited to be home again and is looking forward to listening to his stereo, cooking and having a PBR, among many other things.
The insurance company said he is no longer in need of inpatient therapy. He will continue outpatient therapy. He had therapy this morning and they are continuing to work on his legs and he said he can feel his muscles are tired after exercising. We are all very hopeful that he will be able to walk again.
Congratulations Dad we are all very proud of you and know that if it wasn’t for your determination you wouldn’t be succeeding like you are. Keep up the hard work, the sky is the limit.
Thank you everybody for your love, support and prayers!
