Toni is officially out of the hospital!!! Too bad it wasn’t a nicer day but we don’t care and was actually a little soothing for her to feel the rain. She’s all snuggled up in the hotel bed watching some tv and we plan on going swimming here in a little bit. To say she is ecstatic to be out is a understatement. Still more healing to go but at least she can be in a normal bed and not confined to a room. She will have a follow up appointment tomorrow morning in Mankato that I will get her to, stop home and pack a bag and then she will stay in Albert Lea with Mom until she’s a bit stronger. What a great day it has been. I know that I speak for Toni and our entire family that the outpouring of support has been overwhelmingly amazing.  Times like this over the last 12 days puts so much into perspective on how lucky we are, not everyone has so many loved ones. We appreciate each and every single one of you. I will continue to update here and there as she continues to heal but we are going to enjoy this day and can’t help but think Grandpa Vern had something to do with her getting out today as 3 years ago today is went he left us physically. Love you all so so much!!
