Got a CT scan yesterday and saw my pulmonologist today. He says my scans are almost perfect, there’s just one small bit of scarring that will go away in another week or two. No long term damage, no further treatment or followup necessary.
I’ve got like two days left on my clinical trial drugs, had my first check-in phone call with the researchers on Wednesday and I’ll have two more calls in January and February. But other than that - and waiting for paperwork for my insurance company so I can get reimbursed for my deductible - it seems like this adventure is behind me now.
