Tom’s Story

Site created on April 15, 2024

On February 20 a tumor was discovered on Tom’s thoracic spine when he lost feeling in his legs. He had to have emergency back surgery and spent time working very hard after that in an acute physical therapy rehab program to gain strength. The tumor was found to be cancerous, and originating in the pancreas. At this point, and after a ton of hard work and even harder decisions, Tom with his family’s support has decided to stop treatment and come home. We welcome your thoughts and prayers through the caring bridge site. Please be mindful that this is a very hard process for our family, especially for our mom as she’s navigating her new normal.

**The purpose of this is not to receive donations on this site but to share with you, our friends and family. We welcome your thoughts and prayers!
