Thomas Edwin Carl, age 66, passed away peacefully at Guthrie Corning Hospital in Corning, NY on January 20, 2021.

Tom was born in Pawtucket, RI on February 23, 1954.  He is the son of John and Grace (Goodrich) Carl. 

He was employed at The Arc of Steuben in Bath, NY for 37 years and a resident of Pathways in Corning, NY for 26 years.  

Tom loved the Lord and was a faithful attender of Curtis Baptist Bible Church in Campbell, NY.  

A highlight of every summer was being a camper at Camp Whitman on Seneca Lake for 22 years.

Tom enjoyed social activities including swimming, bowling, movies, concerts, dances, Bingo, dining out, and many games of Yahtzee.  He was also an avid fan of the NY Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys.  

His sweet nature touched the hearts of everyone with whom he came into contact.  Tom was a loving brother, uncle, nephew, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tom is survived by his brother, James (Catherine) Carl of Charlotte, NC and sister, Linda (Joseph Zucoski) Carl, of Philadelphia, PA.  He is also survived by aunts, uncle, cousins, nephews, niece, great-nephews, and a great-niece.
