Welcome to our CaringBridge site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated about Tomas.


Tomas was diagnosed (DX) with Pre-B Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) on 6 September 2007.

He began treatment on 7 September.

Please read the journal entry from 5 November 2007 for an analogy.

It is going to be a two to three year journey from the Induction to the consolidation phase that will eventually lead to the maintenance phase.

Tomas turned 17 today, we are doing a drawn out birthday celebration. He had restaurant pizza today. tomorrow we take him and his girlfriend out to dinner at a fancy restaurant. Sunday we have the cake cutting.

He is excelling in high school his GPA must be somewhere around 4.0. All AP classes, he has been playing in the Marching Band for three seasons now and next month he starts LaCrosse. He has been driving for almost a year now so he drives himself and Anna to school each day. Those two have become very tight. Tereza has been in the Navy for almost three years now, she was Commissioned out of George Washington university in 2016.

Tomas' long term goal is to become a doctor. He has been taking EMT certification classes in High School and doing ride alongs with the various EMTs in our area.
