Todd’s Story

Welcome to Todd's CaringBridge website.  On Thursday, June 23rd, Todd was admitted to Ridgeview Medical Center due to an ischemic stroke affecting the back of his brain.  It has impacted his balance, his right arm and leg, his speech, swallowing, and has caused him to have constant double vision.  He is currently at the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (Abbott Northwestern Hospital) in Minneapolis for acute care where he's getting physical, occupational and speech therapy for three hours a day.  Provided all goes well, the plan is for him to then go to the Courage Kenny in Golden Valley for transitional care, then home with his family, and drive his cars. We are using this site to keep family and friends updated, and we will post as often as possible. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
