It's been 1 month and still feels like a dream. I still grab for my phone to send Todd a text about something we are doing. I'm back to work and the kids are back to their "normal" activities.
One of Todd's last wishes was for Leo to be able to go to Daytona like we planned and he would get to ride in a NASCAR so the boys and I flew down to Daytona to spend a few days with amazing friends and Leo rode in the NASCAR! Leo said he felt Todd sitting in the car with him!
Thank you to everyone who was able to help us celebrate Todd's life. The amount of support we have received was amazing. We certainly have a tribe supporting us! When Todd started planning his funeral, he told me to do something small at the funeral home. I told him the funeral home wasn't big enough. He wanted to know how many people I thought would be there? I knew there would be a lot of people. We have so many people that love us and wanted to be there to support us and that is exactly what we had.
Todd picked out 3 songs that he wanted played at this funeral. Because we couldn't play them during the service, I made sure they were the 1st 3 songs on his video. If you weren't able to join us, I hope that you will take some time to enjoy all the pictures we included in his video. The time we had together will never be enough but we sure made a lot of memories and for that, I will be forever grateful!
