Journal entry by jbunnbgc Lilywyatt2014 —
I haven’t reported any news about my niece Tina Mariee and her battle with leukemia in several weeks as he has been home in preparation for the stem cell transplant . She has now returned to Augusta and is getting 5 days of chemo followed by a day of full body radiation and then the transplant. She will remain in hospital for several weeks following transplant and then will be in Augusta near hospital for daily monitoring. This treatment protocol seems to me something out of science fiction. I just can’t imagine what she is going thru. My sister. Phyllis is at her side constantly and never waivers in her support. Please offer up prayers and positive thoughts that this treatment is successful and that 2021 will give Tina Mariee and Phyllis their return to a pain free life.
