God took Tim, my Dad home with him around 12:30 this morning.

Although I am so grateful that my Dad is no longer suffering and finally has the peace and comfort he deserves it still makes this post the hardest one I have had to make yet.

We were blessed with the best father/husband/grandpa around.  He may have been a pain in the ass at times but as Mom always says, He is OUR pain in the ass.

At a time like this it’s hard to let go and not be selfish.  We love him so much that it was difficult to let go but we know we needed to, to give him the peace he deserves.  He has fought so hard and no longer needs to do so.  We know he is up there drinking some ice cold Busch lattes with his buddies who have gone before him.  We also know he is having one of the best golf games of his life.  He deserves all of the wonderfully beautiful things that heaven has in store for him.

Although my Dad is no longer physically here with us any longer we know he will always be with us.  One thing I prayed for and asked my Dad when I was saying my “see you laters” to him was for him to just give me small signs just so I know he is there.  On the way home from Milwaukee after he passed we all saw the most beautiful shooting star.  I can’t help to think that this was already one of those signs.  He always was looking out for his friends and family and I know that won’t change now that he’s in heaven.  He is going to make the best, most beautiful guardian angel.

Thank you will never be enough for everything my Dad has done for me in this short lifetime.  He truly was the best.

We all need to continue to live life to the fullest like Tim always did.  No sweating the small stuff.  Always look at things on the bright side.  There is no such thing as can’t.  Just have fun. That’s what he would want.

His benefit slogan a lot of game left still fits.  Although his game here on earth is over he will get to score on up in heaven.

My family would like to extend a huge thank you to all of you for your prayers and support through this time and the last almost two years.  We truly have the best village of people surrounding us in our lives and a big part of that is because of the amazing man Tim was.

This is not good bye, it is see you later.  We love you Dad. ❤️
