This will probably be the last post to Tim's CaringBridge page. We can't thank all of our family, friends, neighbors and anyone that had anything to do with the support that was given to Tim in any way through his journey.
Tim has been throuh a lot; stroke, rare disease diagnosis, surgeries, therapy, with progress and setbacks; but from this experience he has also learned a lot. He has had to learn patience, resilience, flexibility, dependability, regain independence, relearn how to speak, overcome fear, and his own true strength both mentally and physically. Tim has had a long journey but we know he was never alone on the journey as he had the Lord by his side and family, friends, and a community that was supporting, praying, and there every step of the way. We thank you all for that!
Tim is well on his way to recovery. In the past few weeks Tim has been able to go back to work on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. He is so happy to be back to work, and I'm sure they are happy that he is back. Tim will continue with speech therapy once a month for the next 3-4 months. With the last few steps ahead with therapy, Tim has gotten his normal back!!
We will never forget the love and support you all have provided these past months. We wish you all a Merry Christmas.
