The ecologist was in today and gave the result of the CT scans. The cancer around the liver has not grown and still under control. There is some cancer that has metastasized in his chest. She thinks because of this, this is where all of the pain is coming from. They are looking into putting a feeding tube in him and try and get his nutrition back to a normal level. He is very malnourished at the moment. The problem with the feeding tube is he cannot go home by himself. He is very weak and would not be able to feed himself through the tube. She thinks there is a great chance of him becoming a lot stronger and may not have to continue this if they get the correct nutrients in him. They are also hesitant in placing because of infection. Its a procedure where they will have to use a local anesthesia on him.
