Journal entry by Leslie Miller

This will be my final post on caring bridge as we are now home and he will continue to improve , go to outpatient rehab, get stronger and healthier ! He is home!!!

Thank you to all of you who have followed along, prayed , supported us in so many ways. I can’t thank you enough and my family can’t thank you enough.

Being able to share this experience has helped provide an outlet for me. I hope it has provided something for all of you as well.

God is real! His power is real and he does answer prayers. If you don’t have a relationship with him, he is yearning to have one with you.

Tim had a great evening and day today being home. The kids are so happy he is home and so am I!! He is working hard at home doing exercises to get stronger. He is only on 1 liter at night and nothing throughout the day! Tonight he walked to the park and back with us!! I couldn’t believe it …. He did it and did amazing!!!!

We are finally complete again! I can’t tell you how I finally was able to sleep last night with my husband beside me knowing we are a family again.

This journey doesn’t have words, we have learned so much. We no longer will take one another for granted. We will love each-other better . We will ensure we continue to grow in God together and individually. We will always give grace and be quick to forgive. Knowing that we may not have tomorrow.

As we continue our journey , we are so thankful that we have a journey to continue together and as a family.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only son . That whomever believes in him will be saved! God loves you! He loves you more than you love your spouse or kids. That love was so evident during this to me! Tim said while he was sedated he saw that he was in a coma and couldn’t come to me, so he cried out to God . God hears our cries. He heard his, he heard mine, he heard yours! God is real, covid is also real so please do your part so you don’t have this journey .

Again, we don’t have words to express to you guys how much we appreciate all your support, love, and prayers during this journey .

On day 36, Tim came home! He is home where he belongs with us! We are complete!!!! We are a family again :) The kids were able to just soak it in, had their tickles with dad, cuddles times and working on homework!!!

Love to all of you!
