Tilden Hamilton’s Story

Site created on January 25, 2020

Welcome to Ham's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.
We appreciate your outpouring of love, support and words of encouragement, your photos, your fond memories of Ham.
He was diagnosed with melanoma on January 2, 2020 and passed away at Memorial Sloan Kettering 27 days later.
We look forward to seeing you on February 15th at 1pm for the Memorial Service at St. Lukes Parish in Darien, CT.

It was very important for Ham to leave a legacy so we have created 3 ways to give to his valued causes. One for his school, one for melanoma and one GoFundMe for donations to all of the other regional causes of importance to Ham.

1. Here is the link to donate to his school in Geneva, Switzerland  https://www.ecolint.ch/overview/supporting-ecolint/grande-boissiere-projects

2. Here is the link to donate to Hams Fund at AIM at Melanoma https://support.aimatmelanoma.org/fundraiser/2612389

3. GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/1vwiy5cck0

We are sharing “Huge Hammy Hugs”,
With love and gratitude from the Lydecker, Low, and Bunge families

Newest Update

Journal entry by Ann Lydecker Bunge

Today marks 2 months since Hams passing.

This year an estimated 100,350 adults (60,190 men and 40,160 women) in the United States will be diagnosed with invasive melanoma of the skin. Melanoma is the fifth most common cancer among men and the sixth most common cancer among women. Melanoma is 20 times more common in white people than in other races. Thanks to you, we have raised nearly $20,000 for melanoma research toward finding a cure, in Ham Bunge's name.
