Hello Dear Friends,

More news from the Temple. Tiana and I headed in to Boston for a neurological assessment on Friday and didn't get home until last night!  We had expected to come home right after the appointment so we were not prepared for an extended stay. Dr. Press is a really sweet, caring and skilled neurologist and we were very lucky to be able to get in to see him. After examining Tiana he recommended we should go over to Beth Israel Deaconess to get some scans run. It was 3:00 PM by then so we were surprised that they could see us so late in the day.

It turned out we were right. We didn't even get past the triage unit until 8:00 PM and that is how our ordeal began. If you want to get all the details of the full adventure you'll have to read the short story I haven't written yet. Suffice it to say that the care was subpar and not conducive to health or well being. We did, however get an MRI, a CT scan and an X-ray so at least we received some useful information.

We are heading back in to Boston tomorrow for another appointment and we are hopeful that we will be getting some useful information out of all this. Meanwhile, it is such a relief to be back at the Temple getting some rest.
