Today is the day! His kidney numbers are looking good. A normal kidney number is 1 and Thy's numbers were 2.1 and 1.7 the last few days.  Catheter was removed and no more dialysis (yay!!). They also said he will not need in-home therapies, instead he will go to the hospital to continue his therapy sessions. It's been a long time coming waiting for this day to arrive. With much gladness and relief, here he is having his last hospital meal and laying on his hospital bed for one last time this morning. Discharged time is 11:00 am today. I couldn't have asked for a better way to ring in the New Year then to have him home by my side with our children to celebrate the new year as a family once more. God is good!

It's been a quite a journey and I am forever grateful for all the outpouring of love, support, encouragement, meals, phone calls, text messages, monetary contribution, prayers and so much more. We've been blessed beyond words. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this journey with us. May the new year bring you nothing but good health, wealth and prosperity, and many, many blessings. This is my last and final CaringBridge journal entry.
