Hello All,
We are now 2 days post-surgery and I am happy to report that we are doing well. The surgery went as planned and the initial tests showed no cancer. We are waiting to hear back from the pathology reports which will tell a more complete story and give some clarity in terms of the next steps for treatment.
Alisha is recovering well. She is sore and tired but continues to be in good spirits and hopeful. We are planning on about 2 weeks of slow recovery followed by another 4 weeks of healing before she feels back to normal.
