So it's officially coming soon. February 28th is my surgery date. The plan is to do a double surgery to remove the rest of the Cancer and reverse my ilestomy. Not sure which they will do first. As of now my liver surgeon is planning on doing a minimally invasive (Laparoscopic) Liver Resection to remove the rest of the cancer. So that will be about 4-6 small incisions. My Colorectal Surgeon will be going back through the original incision that's down my bellybutton to go in and reverse my ilestomy. But as any surgery goes things can change. The liver surgery should take about 2-3 hrs and the ilestomy surgery should take about 1-2 hours. Recovery will be about a week in the hospital and 4-6 weeks for full recovery. So visitors are more then welcome to come visit me in the hospital, as I will be bored lol.
