Hi Everyone! I just realized I never updated our page after Liam’s Cath procedure I just updated facebook. Whoops! We are sorry about that! His cath went amazing! He did so good this time around and we ended up only needing to stay inpatient for one night for monitoring! We have sense had a couple follow up apointments and our appointment last week with cardiology confirmed that Liam’s heart function has never looked so good! The stent that was placed in the cath lab is exactly what he needed! His stats have been amazing and he is gaining weight… on Liam’s time of course! He will be 9 months old next week and he’s finally reached 14 pounds!! He is on his own growth chart but we are so proud of him and the small weight gains are big in our family!
Last week we had a big kidney scan at Childrens in Denver. The scan/test showed his kidneys dilated but he is able to give really good output. We are still inside exactly what will be done about the dilation but as of right now we are just going to keep monitoring them.
I officially have one week left of my family leave. I went into work this past Friday for a full day and it was all the emotions I thought I’d feel..excited, happy, sad, and the mom guilt is so real but I know with time we will find our new routine. I am sad to leave Liam to go back to work but I find so much comfort in knowing he’s in the hands of his Nana Sharon and Grandma AnaJulia. We feel really lucky with all our family hands on support. I feel good about going back to the classroom to teach and do what I love knowing Liam’s health looks fantastic! right now.
