Journal entry by TheresAnn Bosserman-Sylvan

Hello All--
I slept most of yesterday. After 4 appointments in three days I was completely exhausted, so I had no energy to write you all!

A special thanks to my son Sean for driving me to my appointments on Monday and Wednesday, and making me dinner on Monday night. Also for working on my computer last week! I am very grateful.

Another round of thanks to my sister Sharon for coming over again in rush hour traffic to make Mom & I dinner Tuesday night. Thank you!

So--- the wonderful news I received late Wednesday afternoon from my very happy gynecology oncologist surgeon is that the pathology report for my left ovary came back with no sign of cancer!!
This is very good news. And since all of my reproductive organs are now gone, that means I was given the "all clear".  I am out of the woods for this area.

Now I need to follow up with my gastroenterologist for my colonoscopy and a possible endoscopy if my  esophagus doesn't quiet down.  My fibromyalgia specialist thinks I may have had an allergic reaction to the plastic tube down my throat during my surgery......So I am on a low dose of antihistamines to see if it will help with the inflammation in my lungs and esophagus ......And it seems to be helping my lungs already. I was able to go for a slow walk around the neighborhood last night without my lungs hurting. Yippee! It was so beautiful out. :)

I am slowly recovering, and still not driving....My other son is flying in for a short weekend visit and we are going on an outing tomorrow, and I am grateful they have a courtesy wheelchair at the museum. I may need it!

So, life goes on, and the glories of spring are unfolding daily, and I revel in the evening sunlight that makes the blossoms glow as if they are lit from within. And I love that everyday the light lasts a little longer in the evening.  I may not be able to walk beside the ocean right now, but I can drink in the miracle of the unfurling glowing flowers and leaves here. For now, this will delight me!

Love to all,
TheresAnn
