Dear Friends:

Today marks the one year anniversary of the tragic accident that resulted in the loss of Jan’s two dear friends: Doris Rogers and Lynda Bobzien. Our family has prayed for Doris, Lynda, and their families every single day. We thank you for doing the same, and for the outpouring of generosity and kindness in the hours, days, weeks, and months that have followed the incident. Your bold and unceasing prayers, cards, visits, calls, flowers, and gifts were and continue to be uplifting in ways words couldn’t possibly describe. Thank you - for being Jan’s prayer warriors when we needed it the most.

We’re also grateful that today, Jan continues to do remarkably well. Knowing how fortunate she is - and not wanting to take a single moment for granted - she’s worked hard to rehabilitate and to life life fully and joyfully. She savors every chance she gets to cheer her grandchildren on at soccer games and swim meets, to have family dinners, to catch up with friends over bridge, to be part of her church community, and to give back in an effort to honor the kindness you all have shown her.
